C.E.M.P. Search & Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization. Although utilized by many area agencies, including the LAPD, we are not included in any County, City or State budgets or funding plan. Therefore all of our operating costs come from out-of-pocket expenses or donations. Over the last half-century we have save taxpayers millions of dollars in operating costs. Every bit helps. How We Use Our Donations
We rely 100% on donations, grants, and fundraising efforts to survive. All donations immediately go into action to cover operating expenses such as truck maintenance, insurance and upkeep. We also use donations for medical supplies, GPS, tracking software, training and other equipment. Every single dollar is used to help keep our operation current and running.
